My favorite Gut Friendly Banana bread

The other day, I was idle, and wasn't sure what to do, so I went into the kitchen, and found a large amount of very ripe bananas!
Banana bread is super yummy, especially straight out of the oven smothered in butter!

Today I thought that I would show you how to make my favorite SCD, gluten free, sugar free, lactose free, banana bread!

SCD Banana bread

Ready in  45 mins
Serves 6 people, or 1 very greedy person


  • 3 eggs
  • 2 ripe banana's
  • 3/4 cup unbleached almond flour
  • ⅓ cup coconut flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  2. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan with oil and set aside
  3. In a medium bowl, with an electric mixer, mix together the bananas, vanilla, and eggs, until well combined
  4. In a separate bowl, with a fork, whisk together coconut flour, almond flour, and baking soda.
  5. Combine the wet and dry into the wet bowl, and whisk until well combined.
  6. Scoop the mixture into the loaf pan, and put into the oven
  7. Cook for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean
  8. Enjoy!


Eat with lots of butter, and serve while hot
