Strawberry and banana SCD smoothie

I love strawberries, and I love banana, so what is better than those two things by themselves??
A Strawberry Banana Smoothie!

This recipe contains the three greatest flavors, coconut, banana, and strawberries!

And on a day like today, when it is almost 30 degrees outside, you need something like a smoothie, for protein, and to keep you hydrated and cool!

The best Strawberry  Banana smoothie

Ready in 10 minutes
Yields 2 cups of smoothie


  • ½ cup strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup canned coconut milk
  • 1 cup SCD legal yogurt
  • ½ cup ice
  • optional: 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract


  1. Put strawberries, banana, and coconut milk in the blender
  2. and blend on medium for 10 seconds
  3. Add yogurt and blend until combined,
  4. add vanilla
  5. Add the ice little by little, blending in between.
  6. Serve and Enjoy


Keep the smoothie in the fridge for a fast breakfast the next morning!

  2. Hi there! When I first started on the SCD diet, I missed yogurt a lot, and so my mom and I made this yogurt: And We made it ourselves! If you are interested in buying yogurt, I have not come across a lot in my area, but there are some online! If you come across one that is good, please let me know!
