I love strawberries, and I love banana, so what is better than those two things by themselves??
A Strawberry Banana Smoothie!
This recipe contains the three greatest flavors, coconut, banana, and strawberries!
And on a day like today, when it is almost 30 degrees outside, you need something like a smoothie, for protein, and to keep you hydrated and cool!

The best Strawberry Banana smoothie
Ready in 10 minutes
Yields 2 cups of smoothie
Ingredients
- ½ cup strawberries
- 1 banana
- 1 cup canned coconut milk
- 1 cup SCD legal yogurt
- ½ cup ice
- optional: 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Preparation
- Put strawberries, banana, and coconut milk in the blender
- and blend on medium for 10 seconds
- Add yogurt and blend until combined,
- add vanilla
- Add the ice little by little, blending in between.
- Serve and Enjoy
Tips
Keep the smoothie in the fridge for a fast breakfast the next morning!

When I first started on the SCD diet, I missed yogurt a lot, and so my mom and I made this yogurt: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/legal/detail/homemade-yogurt/ And We made it ourselves! If you are interested in buying yogurt, I have not come across a lot in my area, but there are some online! If you come across one that is good, please let me know!
