SCD Pie Crust
But who says you have to have it only around the holidays?
it is the middle of summer right now, and I really wanted apple pie, so I decided that I would make one. I love it when my apple pie has many different spices and flavors, such as vanilla, lemon, and of course cinnamon!

SCD pie Crust
Ready in 50 minutes
Yields 1 large pie crust, or 4 mini pie crusts
Ingredients
- ¾ cup almond flour
- ½ cup coconut flour
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ cup honey
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons of cinnamon
- ⅓ cup coconut oil
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine the almond flour, coconut flour, salt, Cinnamon, and baking soda in a bowl, and mix together
- In a separate bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients, mixing with an electric mixer
- Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, and mix together with an electric mixer
- Press into the pie pan
- Bake the pie in the oven for 15 minutes
- Fill with pie filling
- Cook again for 7-10 minutes
- Take out and let cool
